Most students enter a yoga class in the search of a fit body; in the hands of a knowledgeable and sensitive teacher, they may leave the class with a more relaxed body, and a regained balance of their emotions and mind. Yet Yoga works much deeper: it allows us to heal by harnessing the inner wisdom of our cells.
No matter from which walk of life you come, what your beliefs are, or what kind of body you own, I believe in making the benefits of yoga accessible to everyone, and especially to people with a chronic condition. Amshala Yoga & Yoga Therapy was founded in 2013 as a platform for this vision.
I integrate my personal journey of healing the body and balancing the mind, with my constant curiosity for knowing about the true make up of being human, and my passion for sharing this knowledge and helping others improve their quality of life. Using a holistic approach and techniques drawn from Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine and Neuro-Linguistic Programming, I can assist you in releasing physical, mental and emotional blockages to help you improve your general well-being.
